Does the Greater Valley Development Group work only in the southeast United States?
The GVDG team of professionals is dedicated to development solely in the Greater Valley Area of eastern Alabama and western Georgia. The communities that comprise the Greater Valley Area are: Valley, Lanett and Lafayette, Alabama and West Point, Georgia. Why is so much development occurring so rapidly in the Greater Valley Area?
Quite simply, over 5000 jobs will be created in this area in the next 2 to 5 years. KIA Motor Corporation selected West Point, Georgia as the location for their first-ever car manufacturing facility in North America. Quality housing and retail will be needed to support the industrial expansion and the many skilled workers who will ultimately be employed by KIA and the KIA suppliers. Many will want to live close to where they work; our planned communities are designed to create an attractive lifestyle option.
